Beautiful rare embossed bronze 13th century Majaphit period Indonesia ceremonial club. This club was also used as a battle club and was dug by a rice farmer near Thowulan Singasari Java Indonesia which was a religious site during the Majaphit period. It is embossed with two Indonesian dancers performing a dance with a sunburst motif above their heads. The club is copper,bronze composition and covered in volcanic ash. It has been lost wax casted and measures 16" or 41 cm and has been x-rayed for authenticity.
